ACCOUNT LEAD

As an Account Lead at Shift you will work closely with the clients and Shift’s delivery team to ensure long-term client and project success. You will be responsible for managing client expectations, communicating budgets, deliverables, and timelines, and assist with understanding future technology needs from our clients. As an Account Lead you must be dependable, possess strong communication skills and take a pragmatic approach to problem solving. Lastly, you should love what you do and strive to share that passion with others.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, strengthen and grow client relationships
  • Generate and drive revenue with existing clients through development plans
  • Manage and maintain client expectations on product delivery
  • Champion the development of new project proposals and scopes of work
  • Work closely with your client and delivery team to drive requirements, enhance your product, and align with the product owner
  • Oversee and communicate budget and timeline to client stakeholders
  • Work with delivery teams to ensure smooth product delivery
  • Regularly update leadership with status and budget reports
  • Manage monthly billing and P&L reports

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated technical expertise and ability to manage complex projects from conception through completion
  • Understanding of software development and agile methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable in a client-facing role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
  • Comfortable networking and representing the company to both internal and external audiences

Bonus Points

  • PMI-ACP or equivalent certification
  • Proven track record in managing development projects
  • Past exposure and/or experience with software development
